NEW KINGDOM EGYPTIANS
The Egyptians, led by Ahmose I defeated the Hyksos invaders resulting in the foundation of the 18th Dynasty and the Egyptian Empire. Thutmose III expanded the empire to its furthest extent, stretching from Nubia to the Euphrates. The 19th Dynasty Pharaoh Ramesses II attempted to recapture Syria from the Hittites until the war ended with a mutual alliance. The 20th Dynasty Pharaoh Ramesses III fought off Libyan and Sea People invaders until the country split up amid civil war into northern and southern kingdoms.
Egypt fought the Hyksos, Canaanites, Syrians, Mitannians, Hittites, Hebrews, Philistines, Sea Peoples, Nubians, Libyans, Bedouin, as well as civil wars within Egypt.
